TEDxHull 2013 is preparing to explore some whys and why nots of our world.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxHull, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxHull event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

To all those that came down to TEDxHull 2013, thank you. We hope you had as great a day as we did and look forward to sharing some of the amazing videos and photos from the day with you.

For those who missed it, our TEDxHull 2013 theme was ‘And why not?’ Filled with amazing people talking about their incredible ideas. You can head over to their bio's and talk summaries and find out what you missed. We'll also be updating their pages with the videos of their talks, so don't forget to check back.
